Google Doodle Game 44^th Anniversary of Birth of Hip Hop was released in the year 2017, to celebrate the 44^th Anniversary of the occasion when an 18-year-old Jamaican American DJ who went by the name of Kool Herc threw a back-to-school- jam in New York. He chose to play only the instrumental sections or only a part of the song, instead of the full song and he observed that the crowd went wild while he was experimenting with his new form of music. This created what we today know as ‘Hip Hop’. The game is unique, as it focuses on education and history, and also includes a variety of locations and characters that are inspired by real people and places form the early days of hip hop.
